This trick was named after one of my siblings. He first attempted it on inline skates. Thereafter, I learned the move on the ice. Doug's Special is probably one of the easiest tricks in the Master skill level. And with enough height and distance, Doug's Special can look quite eye-popping.

Check out this picture of Dan Perceval doing Doug's Special on the beach. The leg positioning in the linked picture is actually the correct position. The trick had been modified over the years.
