Tutorial update & other news
We've finished 2 out of the 3 videos for the "Tight Circular Footwork" tutorial. In other news, we've been also working on getting Xtreme Ice Skaters a place to practice at, particularly in England. A lot of the work so far has been research. We're looking into media & advertising possibilities, local data about culture and demographics, and other information that will impact the function of an Xtreme Ice Skating practice session. We've also been creating an overall strategy for this possible practice session to ensure it's success, and moreover, to make sure that we can pivot from a local program to a national program. Here is an excerpt from Dan Perceval from our latest Board Meeting discussing strategy:
"Firstly, if/when a practice session for our sport transpires at a rink in England, freestylers will join this session. In fact, to my belief, freestylers will mostly visit these practice sessions over Xtreme Ice Skaters. The reason is simple: freestyle is more popular than our sport. So freestylers will be practicing at our “Xtreme Ice Skating” practice sessions. Freestylers will inherently be tied to our sport. We’re converging a larger market with our own smaller market. In any regard, this creates wealth, and the rink(s) that are catering to our sport will gain added sustainable revenue. As momentum increases in our sport and creates enough local interest and wealth, other rinks will have to follow suit because the opportunity cost to ignore our sport will be too great. So in other words: create overwhelming interest and wealth at the rink(s) that have initially catered to our sport, and most other rinks will have to follow because the expense of doing nothing is too great."
