Xtreme Ice Skate update

August 25th, 2010

To update everyone on the Xtreme Ice Skate, we'll be ordering the bladeholders for the Xtreme Ice Skate within the next week. In regards to the graphics we'll be putting on the bladeholders (which will likely be stickers), we will probably look into that later next year. We expect to start prototype testing this January or February. Xtreme Ice Skaters will be able to receive a pair of Xtreme Ice Skates for free providing that you return them to us within 2 months. The only cost to testing the skates is shipping costs on the way back.

We expect the skate to be on the market by next summer. There will be a countdown for the release of the skate starting 3-6 months in advance.

Digital camera and video recording

August 25th, 2010

We've received a new digital camera today. It has a recording capacity of 1080p 30fps. Since the camera did not come with a memory card, we'll be ordering it soon. We plan to start recording new footage for a skating video on September 10th or 11th, depending on the accessibility of our camera person. We will likely record a month's straight of footage before putting together a new Xtreme Ice Skating video. It is likely that we will do multiple videos. These videos will show new tricks as well as new music in our skating videos. We will also add some aggressive skating style, if possible.

New digital camera soon

August 21st, 2010

We will be ordering a new digital camera soon (1080p resolution), but one of the cheaper digital cameras. This will be used to start filming for a new movie(s) for later this year. Since we also plan to record more tutorials this Winter like we did on a frozen lake almost two years ago, we'll need a better digital camera, better than the one we'll be ordering soon.

Support our rights as extreme sport athletes

August 14th, 2010

In the recently written article, Xtreme Ice Skating not the only sport treated as an "outsider", makes reference to other extreme sport athletes being treated as outsiders in the general public area and local businesses. Athletes were and are prevented from practicing their extreme sport.

Please support the rights of an Xtreme Ice Skater from the England nicknamed: "Jesus"(because of his long hair) and others can skate and jump as WE please without harassment from ice-rink management. We Xtreme Ice Skaters respect other people's space on the ice. We therefore shouldn't be treated harshly or any different than everyone else. Help support our sport and the rights of ice-skaters everywhere by signing the Xtreme Ice Skater's petition.
